Detailed review for Nonprofit Appeal Letters

We used LettrLabs for our annual Donor Retention Mailers and then for a batch of Nonprofit Appeal Letters. The ordering process involved uploading our list and letter content; it was fairly intuitive. Delivery took about 7 days to reach our donors' mailboxes after production, which was within their estimated window. The quality of the Robotic Pen-Written Mail was impressive – they really do look handwritten, and we got some positive feedback on them. We also integrated with our CRM, which made tracking easier. While the platform is robust, I felt the initial setup for integrating our specific CRM took a bit more back-and-forth with support than I anticipated, but they did get it sorted.

Good service, fast turnaround

I ordered a batch of custom stationery for a new client outreach. The process was straightforward, and the support team was helpful with my design questions. Turnaround for the Card and Envelope was quicker than expected, which was great. My only minor gripe was the initial quoting tool felt a little clunky.

Great value on first order

As a first-time buyer, I was looking for the best deal. I got a nice discount on my initial campaign of New Homeowner Mailers after a quick demo. The per-piece price was really good, especially compared to others I looked at. It felt like a solid investment for the money.

We're a non-profit, trying to stretch every dollar. Do they offer any special pricing for non-profits?

D Donna Mitchell 3 days ago
Yeah, I heard they do offer discounts for non-profits. Definitely worth reaching out to them directly for a quote.

My friend runs a charity and used them, got a pretty decent non-profit rate, I think.

Thinking of trying these guys for a new client acquisition campaign. Is there like a discount for first-timers or anything?

M Megan D. 3 weeks ago
Sometimes they offer a credit if you do a demo, but I haven't seen a general first-time user promo code. Best to just ask during the demo.

I got a small credit for doing a demo, so yeah, definitely worth checking if that's still a thing.

Anyone know if you can hook this up with like, Salesforce or something? Want to automate some of my follow-ups.

J Jason N. 1 week ago
Yep, they integrate with HubSpot and Salesforce for sure. Makes life way easier.

I use it with my CRM, not Salesforce, but it was pretty straightforward to set up. I'd imagine SF is even easier for them.

How does LettrLabs compare to Inkpact? Heard good things about both but not sure which to go with.

A Adam 4 days ago
LettrLabs feels more automated and scalable, while Inkpact is more about individual handwriting. Depends on your volume needs.

Inkpact feels a bit more 'boutique' to me. LettrLabs seems to handle bigger campaigns and integrates better with marketing platforms, if that's what you're looking for.

Hey, wondering if these 'handwritten' letters actually look legit? Like, are they really done with a pen or just a fancy font printout?

N Nick Adams 1 day ago
Nah, they're legit. Saw a demo, they use robotic arms with real pens. It's kinda wild.

Yeah, I got a sample kit a while back, and you can totally tell it's not just a printer. The ink bleeds a tiny bit, looks super authentic.

What's the typical wait time for a campaign to actually get mailed out once I've approved everything? Need to hit a deadline.

S Susan Williams 1 week ago
From my experience, once you give the green light, it's usually out the door in a few business days. They're pretty quick.

O Olivia Lopez 6 days ago
Depends on the size of your campaign but usually pretty fast. I think they say a couple of days for smaller batches, maybe up to a week for huge ones.

I'm looking to send out a bunch of letters, like, a LOT. Do they have better pricing if you're sending in bulk?

J Josh 1 week ago
Oh for sure, bulk orders get way better per-piece pricing. It's their whole thing.

R Robert Evans 1 week ago
Yeah, the more you send, the cheaper it gets. That's how most of these services work, but they're pretty competitive on volume.
